Flood Alarm With Remote Sensor

Posted by: Test For Admin    in Moisture, Water

Test for flooding? Seriously? YES! Pretty much any homeowner ought to have at least one of these flood sensors installed someplace in their home.

Flood Water Detector w/ Remote Sensor

A flood can happen in a home as a result of many different situations. A washing machine can overflow, pipes can burst, sewage can back up, A/C condensation pan can fill up and overflow, condensation pan under the fridge can fill up and overflow, children might play in a tub adn accidentally leave the water on, a neighbor might drain their pool (or pool cover) and the water runs towards your home and down into your basement… and the list goes on.

Advantages of this meter include a generous 6′ cord for the remote sensor which can separate from the base unit quickly. This makes wiring the sensor from a remote area through a small space very easy.

The unit operates on a standard 9-volt battery, has a test button, has a low battery warning, and comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Hopefully you will never need a flood alarm… but anyone who has ever had flood damage in their home will tell you how much they really wish they had known sooner about the problem — beacuse of how much money it would have saved them.

Note: We suggest installing this flood alarm in an inhabited building/dwelling to make sure someone can hear the audible alarm if it goes off.

For uninhabited areas we suggest installing a wireless flood alarm.
